A new awareness campaign is launching in Florida courthouses to alert former homeowners about surplus funds that may be owed to them after foreclosure. Posters, QR cards, and claim forms are being distributed in public areas.
“People walk right past the money without even knowing it,” said a court outreach volunteer.
The program will expand to 30 counties by July, with legal aid partners on-site weekly.
