Nonprofits and surplus fund advocates have launched a joint initiative in Palm Beach County to help homeowners and heirs claim funds from foreclosure auctions. The project includes educational events, workshops, and direct claim assistance.
“We’re combining legal support, technology, and community outreach to solve a real financial problem,” said project leader Diane Cross.
The initiative aims to reduce the number of unclaimed surplus cases across the county by the end of 2025.
